SDS Drum Corps Program for children and adults is a rare opportunity to learn band drumming fundamentals while performing in festivals, parades and competition events.

Immersed in the technical disciplines of Scottish band drumming, students quickly learn to read music and perform drumming rudiments at an unusually high level on snare, tenor and bass drums provided by the school. The curriculum emphasizes ensemble playing in affordable level-graded weekly group lessons.

Instructors include Steve Smith, drum school owner, iconic recording and performing personality (Billy Moon, the 350's, etc),

Steve Roy, program director 20+ year veteran Scottish snare drummer and teacher (Keith Highlanders, Seattle Bagpipe Band, Northwest Junior Pipe Band, Washington Scottish, Kenmore & District, etc),

John Scullion, four time world solo snare drumming champion, teacher and drumming judge. John travels from Northern Ireland several times a year to teach at the school.
