The Seattle Drum School opened it's doors (door) in 1986 with one 144 square foot room and today occupies the entire 8200 square foot structure.  It houses four 24 track recording studios, five large classrooms (including a piano lab), ten other teaching studios (four of which double as rehearsal spaces) and the L.A.B. (Little Auditorium in the Back) which is a 125 seat, acoustically designed, all-ages performance venue.  All the rooms are equipped with drum sets, drum machines, keyboards, amplifiers, P.A. systems, and stereos as required to address the educational needs specific to our very diverse student population.

Additionally, we have eight fully equipped practice studios containing high quality musical instruments available for all course and lesson assignments. Rooms are also available for rental by our students.
