COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS
Seattle Drum School of Music actively fosters connections beyond our student base, working with local organizations to enrich the cultural fabric of our community.

The LAB @ 1010 has hosted over 300 events, and provided ongoing discounted access to multicultural and community organizations such as:
One Vibe Africa podcast and rehearsals, + Instrument Drive
Tlalokan Seattle & Mictlanticuctli Aztec dance
Seattle Asian Musicians Association (XAMA)
STG’s Education and Community Engagement program
The LAB has also hosted rehearsals, dance practice, audio recordings, livestreams, all-ages performance collectives, film and podcast productions, video shoots and screenings, workshops and more.

Through these collaborations, we continue to make music and performance accessible to a diverse range of artists and organizations, strengthening Seattle’s creative and cultural community.
HELP US SUPPORT COMMUNITY-CENTERED EVENTS
In 2024 the school became a fiscally sponsored project of the Allied Arts Foundation. Under their nonprofit umbrella, SDSM benefits from a supportive framework that enhances our mission to provide a variety of services to a diverse community.
