ABOUT
Chet Peterson is a fourth-generation classical musician who has been playing the cello since the age of five. As a private cello/bass instructor and orchestra coach, he is passionate about helping students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a lifelong love of music. His teaching emphasizes thoughtful practice, solid technique, and creating a supportive environment where students of all ages can grow and achieve their musical goals.

Alongside teaching, Chet maintains an active career as a performer, arranger, and recording musician. He is a member of the nationally touring band King Youngblood , and has also contributed string arrangements and performances for artists including Selena Gomez, Halsey, Benny Blanco, and Ryan Lewis. With experience spanning classical, rock, and contemporary music, Chet brings a diverse musical perspective into his teaching and enjoys helping students explore the styles that inspire them.
