Q: How has a student inspired you?
A: “I am inspired when I get to see someone grow personally. Meaning, I start teaching them & they know nothing. Watching them learn and seeing when they see a certain growth in Themselves – It brings them confidence. I believe not only in Music but in life. Humans react and celebrate accomplishment. Every time that Inspires me to be alive and grow.”
Q: My essential tools for teaching music are:
A: “First I try to break everything down to its simplest concept. But the greatest tool is learning who your student is and what they want. Then use what you have to bring that out. As in music, so it is with teaching: the greatest tool is listening.”
